Federal funding is absolutely essential for kickstarting, testing and scaling up the solutions we need to combat the climate crisis, but given the natural complexity of the federal innovation budgeting process, it’s been challenging for policy staffers across agencies, Congress, nonprofits and the private sector to get a clear and comprehensive view of that funding. Are we doing enough? And as we enter a new appropriations cycle, where should we focus?

Join EDF on Nov 16 at 3:30pm ET as we launch the first version of our new Climate Innovation Funding Tracker, an online, interactive tool that offers us a new data visualization approach to tracking climate innovation funding in the U.S. The first module focuses on FY21 appropriations at several key agencies.

The tool launch will be accompanied by a panel discussion with experts to talk through the resources available to navigate federal investments for climate innovation, as well as where funding gaps, opportunities, and challenges lie ahead.

After the tool introduction and panel, get the chance to explore the Climate Innovation Funding Tracker for yourself and chat with attendees over light refreshments and snacks. RSVP to join us!
