There is no reason to give into the many myths surrounding the internet era. In this keynote at the CUNY IT Conference 2011, Rob Atkinson dispels thirteen common internet myths, ranging from the takeover of the Cloud to unprecedented privacy concerns. The reality is the internet era will continue to be dominated by the West, create more jobs, and will have an evolved structure of gatekeepers and personal privacy controls.
