Mr. Mahler manages government affairs for Oracle Corporation. He is responsible for
formulating the company’s global public policy agenda and communicating those
policies to lawmakers and government agencies at all levels of government.
Before joining Oracle in 2010, Mr. Mahler served for six years as Chief of Staff for
Congresswoman Anna G. Eshoo (14th District, California – Palo Alto) in her Washington
office.
Prior to joining the Congresswoman’s staff , Mr. Mahler was Vice President and General
Counsel of the Computer & Communications Industry Association (CCIA), a major
Washington technology and telecommunications trade association. From 1995-1999 Mr.
Mahler was on the staff of Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren (16th District, California – San
Jose) as Legislative Assistant and Counsel, and he also served on the staff of Senator
Frank R. Lautenberg (New Jersey) as a Legislative Assistant and Fellow. Mr. Mahler has
also practiced law in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Mahler graduated from Duke University in 1987 (A.B., Psychology), and from the
University of North Carolina School of Law in 1990 (Juris Doctor).
