Daniel Sarewitz is Professor of Science and Society, and co-director and co-founder of the Consortium for Science, Policy, and Outcomes (CSPO), at Arizona State University. His work focuses on revealing and improving the connections between science policy decisions, research and innovation, and beneficial social outcomes. He lives and works in Washington, D.C., where he focuses his efforts on a range of activities to increase CSPO’s impact on science and technology policy at the national level. His new book, The Techno-Human Condition (co-authored with Braden Allenby), will be published by MIT Press in March 2011.
