Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory Video Introduction

Matthew Stepp, senior analyst with ITIF, is visiting numerous laboratories, clean energy startups, and incubators during his seven-city tour across the country as part of the Millennial Trains Project. In this video introduction, he discusses the next stop on his trip: Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. LBNL is one the America’s “Big Science" labs that does government sponsored basic science in advanced physics, chemistry, and material science to name a few. This research provides the fundamental understanding that can lead to significant breakthroughs in clean energy, nanotechnology, and genomics among others.
