Choose variables and metrics below to visualize weighted momentum in the global race for competitive advantage in Hamilton Index industries, or to visualize nominal change in relative performance or in global market shares. Note that a country’s weighted “Momentum Index” score is the sum of its 10 Hamilton industries’ value-added output divided by its GDP, after first multiplying each industry’s output by its LQ at the end of a time period and by the percentage change in its LQ since the beginning of a time period (plus 1).
